How to stay motivated for studies during Exam preparations?

How to stay motivated for studies during  Exam preparations?

Why do you want to take the CSS Exam?

"Why do you want to be a government servant?" you might wonder. This question's solution should serve as motivation in and of itself. If you want to make a difference in the world; if you want to serve your country and people. If you truly believe you can put your skills to good use and aid in the growth of your country, consider that clearing the civil service will provide you with the opportunity to do so. You will be more motivated to achieve your objective if you have it set in stone. Consider the advantages to yourself and to society.

Be your own motivator:

"Push yourself because no one else is going to do it for you," states an unknown quotation. This quote is absolutely correct. The goal must be yours, and the efforts must be yours as well. No one is going to study for you, tell yourself. You must persevere and believe in yourself in order to achieve your goal. Don't wait for external factors to motivate you. Stop putting things off.
Break it down: If expectations are wearing you down, the greatest thing you can do is break them down. Make mini-goals for yourself and attempt to meet them. It not only makes your work less intimidating, but it also makes it appear more feasible.

Do what you enjoy:

Why do so many of us enjoy going to the movies? It's because they're fun for us. Remember that sitting through a terrible movie can be a torturous experience. The same is true when it comes to studying. If we enjoy learning, it becomes less of a chore and more of a pleasure. Choose topics that you are truly passionate about. Develop an interest in areas about which you are unfamiliar. Be eager to learn. Studying should be viewed as an opportunity to learn rather than a chore. Curiosity can be a powerful drive for you to keep going.

Boredom kills your motivation:

Recognize which topics boring you and attempt learning those sections in a new way. When dealing with these subjects, be inventive. Try viewing videos instead of reading books. Try teaching these topics to a group of people. Because the CSS syllabus is so large, you will come across topics that bore you. However, using these creative approaches, you can get beyond them. Don't let uninteresting subjects detract from your desire to pass the CSS tests.
Tell yourself these things about yourself: Many times during your CSS preparation, you'll feel like you're not up to the task.CSS exam preparation might take 7-8 months, and it's reasonable to feel discouraged at times. Remind yourself of your strengths at these times. If you excel at Current Affairs but struggle with History, tell yourself, "I excel at Current Affairs." 'I can also deal with history.'

Record your progress:

Keep track of your progress on a regular basis. If you're feeling sad, take a look at this chart. You'll feel good about what you've accomplished and have the motivation to keep going.

Take a breather! : It is not human to continue without taking a break. A good getaway might help you to re-energize your body and mind. A change of scenery might also provide you with new insights.
